S2. EP40 – George Elliot

OTCHooly George Elliot

On this week’s episode we’ve got the infamous George Elliot to end Season Two with a bang. In our opinion George has to be one of the most dynamic and charismatic characters motorsports has ever seen. Known for his high octane lifestyle, George lives life on the edge.

Growing up on the outskirts of Sydney, he’s done everything from making a movie called The Crop, to becoming a best selling author of not one but two books (Terminal Greed and Final Custody), flying helicopters and also winning the 1992 Australian NASCAR Championship.

In this episode we chat with George in-depth about his business V8 Fast Track Experience, growing up in La Perouse in a shipping container, working on an oil refinery, street racing at fourteen years old, playing rugby at school, racing in speedway at the Sydney Showground, we get stuck into George’s NASCAR career, how to get and keep sponsors, racing the old V8 Brute Utes, handling a Trans Am with a torn shoulder for an entire season, why George wrote his first best-seller which including telling a fib to Bryce Courtney, making an award winning film against the odds, the danger zone vs your comfort zone, insane helicopter stories that involve a giant marshmallow, owning and selling a pub for $12M, advice for breaking down doors and holy moly George is still after the trifecta with the third book in his best-selling series not too far away.

Just stop reading and start listening because this is one incredible episode we are super excited to end the season with. Enjoy listening to the inspiring George ‘Hollywood’ Elliot’s, stories beyond the helmet.
